Shipping and Returns
This policy applies to all orders placed on powersportsengineering.com. Please read it carefully before placing an order.
General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but from time to time, there may be a stock discrepancy, and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back-ordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.
Shipping
Processing Times
Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays, at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays are kept to a minimum.
Please note: We offer same-day dispatch for orders received before 10:00 AM (CET/UTC+1) on weekdays (Monday–Friday). However, same-day dispatch is not guaranteed and may be subject to stock availability and order processing constraints.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use established shipping partners depending on destination, weight, and service level. Tracking information is provided via email once the order is dispatched.
We reserve the right to change or upgrade the selected shipping method at our discretion, provided the estimated delivery time is unaffected or improved.
Delivery Times
Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 4–10 days. This varies greatly depending on the country you order from. Estimated delivery time is typically:
- EU countries: 3–7 business days
- Non-EU countries: Varies depending on customs clearance
Please note that these are estimates and not guaranteed delivery windows. Delays caused by the carrier, customs authorities, or force majeure are beyond our control.
Customs & Duties (Outside the EU)
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs processing fees .This varies by country, and Powersports Engineering encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us. These charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the responsibility of the recipient. We do not under-declare values or mark shipments as “gift.”
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Powersports Engineering at the customer’s expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
Returns
We follow the Swedish Distance Selling Act (Distansavtalslagen) and EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Right of Withdrawal (B2C only)
Private consumers within the EU have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days from the date the goods are delivered. To exercise this right, the product must be unused, in new condition, and returned in original packaging.
The withdrawal period does not apply to:
- Custom-made or clearly personalized products
- Products that have been installed, used, or show signs of wear
- Sealed items which have been opened and cannot be returned due to hygiene or functional reasons
To initiate a return under the right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving the goods. Instructions for return will be provided upon approval.
You are responsible for the return shipping cost, and the item must be returned within 14 days from the date of your cancellation notice. The return must be traceable and properly packed. If the item is damaged during return shipping, or if it arrives in non-resellable condition, we may deduct a reasonable amount from the refund.
Refunds will be made within 14 days from receipt of the returned item using the same method of payment as the original purchase.
B2B Sales (Business Customers)
For registered business customers, all sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing. Returns are only accepted upon prior written approval and may be subject to a restocking fee. Transport damage or delivery discrepancies must be reported within 3 business days of receipt.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item (subject to the conditions above) and place a new order separately.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If you receive a defective or damaged item, you must report this to us within 3 business days of delivery. Please include clear photos of the damage and packaging. After reviewing your case, we will advise whether the item should be returned, replaced, or refunded.
We cover return shipping only in cases where the product is proven defective or incorrectly shipped.
Uncollected Shipments
If a shipment is returned to us due to non-collection, refusal, or incorrect address provided by the customer, we will deduct the actual shipping cost (both outbound and return) from any refund. A handling fee may also be applied.
